New Comics for the week of 1-11-17

Got money burning a hole in your pocket? Your L.C.S. would love to relieve you of it! Here are a few choice selections from this week's new releases:

Rob Durham's Cavewoman: Dragon #1 continues the Cavewoman saga, pitting the throwback jungle girl against "her strangest opponent yet". Saucy prehistoric adventures brought to you courtesy of Amryl Entertainment.

A family of undersea adventurers make up the cast of Tom Taylor and James Brouwer's The Deep #1, from Boom! Studios. The Nekton family traverses the globe in their Submarine, The Arronax, dealing with ecological disasters and creatures from far below. Fans of Johnny Quest or The Secret Saturdays should get a kick out of this one.

Speaking of Boom! Studios, they're co-publishing an epic Justice League/Power Rangers miniseries beginning with issue one this week. We're big fans of both super heroes and super sentai here on Back Issue Diving, so this is a dream match. Coming your way thanks to Tom Taylor (there's that name again) and artist Stephen Byrne.

It's a big week for scantily-clad babes, apparently, as this week sees the release of Red Sonja #1 by Amy Chu and Carlos E. Gomez. The Queen of the Hyrkanian Age finds herself in modern day New York and I;m sure hilarity ensues.

That's what stood out to me, what looks good to you? Hit me up on Twitter @ChrisBComics and let me know!
